Behind the Fashion
Afro London CIC was born from seeing too many young people with talent, creativity and ambition, but not always believing there was a positive future for them. Surrounded by messages that can glamorise crime and fast lifestyles, we wanted to show them another path. Through fashion, creativity, culture and sport, we create opportunities for young people to express who they are, discover what they’re capable of and turn their ideas into something real. We’re not just helping young people design, we’re helping them design their futures.

VALUES & VISION
Afro London CIC believes every young person should have the opportunity to see what they are capable of. Our vision is to build a generation that is confident in who they are, proud of where they come from and ambitious about where they can go. Everything we do is guided by three core values: youth empowerment, changing narratives and cultural heritage.
YOUTH EMPOWERMENT
We believe talent is everywhere, but opportunity isn’t. Afro London CIC creates spaces where young people can discover their creativity, build confidence and develop skills that open new possibilities. Through hands-on programmes, mentoring and real-world experiences, we want young people to see that their ideas have value and their ambitions are achievable.
CHANGING NARRATIVES
Young people are constantly exposed to messages that glamorise crime, fast money and shortcuts to success. We want to show another side of the story. Through creativity, entrepreneurship, sport and positive role models, we show young people that success can be built through purpose, discipline and belief in themselves.

At Afro London CIC, we believe every young person should feel proud of who they are and where they come from. Our programmes encourage young people to explore their culture, heritage and identity while learning from the experiences of others. Through fashion, creativity and storytelling, we create spaces where different cultures are celebrated, shared and used as a source of confidence, connection and inspiration.
